Retrieve documents in seconds using Radix DM Search. Browse using the Windows Explorer style interface or search with pinpoint accuracy using Criteria Search.
1
Browse using Explorer
The Windows Explorer style meta-data browser allows users to quickly see and navigate through your organisations filing system. Users can drag fields onto other fields to create their own tree structure.
2
Search using specific criteria
Search one or multiple Library Groups using Criteria Search to specify search criteria. Set search criteria using one or more Library Group fields in almost any combination. All documents that match the specified criteria are listed in the results pane.
3
Tabbed search results
The results of each search are displayed in their own tab allowing users to quickly move between different search results.
4
Favourites saves time
Turn any Criteria Search into a Favourite search. No need to set the same search criteria again, simply double click the Favourite next time you need to run the same search. Users create Favourite searches for all their frequent searches.
5
Search document text and meta-data
Search document meta-data and text inside documents in the same Criteria Search. All common file types can be text searched including Adobe Acrobat PDF files, Microsoft Office files and email and email attachments.
6
Open by Doc ID
Every document in Radix DM has a unique number, a Doc ID. This Doc ID can be easily displayed in your documents, for example in the footer of Microsoft Word documents. The Doc ID then shows when the document is printed or converted to a PDF file. Open the document quickly without searching by simply typing the Doc ID in the Open Doc ID field.
7
Flexible search results with preview pane
All documents that match the specified search criteria are displayed in the Radix DM Search results pane. Search results can be quickly and easily sorted, filtered and grouped. Click on a document to see a quick preview in the preview pane. Double clicking a document opens the document.
8
Automate searching
Using VBA or other programming languages Radix DM Search can called from other applications including Microsoft Word, displaying the results of a specified search.
